Eisenhower High School recently held its annual Fall Sports Showcase on Friday, Aug. 22. Night at the Ike is an event that introduces middle and high fall sports teams. Families and students came together to celebrate the start of the fall sports season with a mix of activities, performances, and school spirit.
The Fall Sports Showcase is more than just an introduction to the season—it’s a chance for families, friends, and fans to enjoy games, performances, and activities while supporting Eisenhower athletes. With bouncy houses, Tiger gear, snow cones, cheer and dance routines, and football action, the event offered something for everyone.
Athletic Director Tony Douglas said, “It allows the community to come together and celebrate the Tigers.”
The football team also took the field, running practice drills and scrimmaging to give fans a look at the upcoming season.
Head Football Coach Darrin Fisher said, “We wanna build the community—not just people who come and watch games. We want people to be a part of our program and not just spectators out there. Things like this getting friends and families out here to enjoy football , is such a blessing and a chance for us to really tie back into our community.”
Night at the Ike has become a tradition at Eisenhower, and it continues to grow each year. It offers younger athletes a chance to be welcomed into Tiger Nation while giving families and fans a chance to support their teams before the season begins.
With strong support from families, coaches, athletes, and the community, Eisenhower is ready to take on the fall sports season with excitement and determination.
